Laura's Journey
As far back as I can remember, I have resonated deeply with nature. Alone in the northern American woods as a young child, I loved looking for things to eat and roots my mother could brew into tea. I delighted in discovering the plants and stones of the coastlines, mountains and even desert as my father’s work moved us from state to state every two to three years.
Of course one must grow up. Having a desire to help people along with a fair share of ambition sent me to college as a pre-medical student. It took only a few years to discover the downside of the allopathic medicine system so I majored in the social sciences.
Shortly after graduation, my closest brother was killed in a dramatic accident—one of those truly life defining moments. The changed current brought me to Sweden where I trained and worked as a massage therapist for several years.
Whilst I continued to explore macrobiotics, aromatherapy, herbal teas, flower essences as well as practicing tai chi and Reiki, my professional life became more mainstream in marketing and communications, albeit for such magazines as Nature and BioTechnology.
When my third child was diagnosed as a baby with a very serious genetic illness, I knew quite simply that the time had come to dedicate myself to what I had previously only dabbled in -- natural medicine and energy healing.
Biopathy (Scandinavian naturopathy) was the obvious in depth choice. After several years studies I began practicing in Denmark where I lived at that time. A degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine/Acupuncture followed. The door was then opened to energy medicine; studies in Psycho-Kinesiology linked the previous disciplines. I learned the new forms Energy Psychology such as EFT. Living several years in Japan allowed Shiatsu, Qigong and Taoist meditation to be studied locally then pursued with masters in China.
My commitment to natural medicine and energy balancing was renewed over a decade ago when I almost lost my life on the operating table during a simple routine procedure. The ensuing hospital stay as well as witnessing the never ending treatments my daughter with genetic disease requires to live has me given insight into the limitations of the current mainstream “sick house” medical system.
My mission is to continue to find and provide optimal holistic health care for individuals and groups both in Sweden and worldwide. My passion is to work within the positive paradigm of transformational life coaching which opens the door to vibrant physical health but also radiant well being on so many other levels!

Personal & Mission
Life as the mother of four children (one with a challenging genetic disease) and living on three continents has perhaps been the most enlightening course of all. Laura speaks English, Swedish and Danish fluently.
Laura now enjoys good health but understands from past experience the tough reality of the middle ground: not critically ill but certainly not enjoying the vibrant well-being that is our birthright. Those closest to her have not always been so fortunate which has been a motivating factor in her choice of lifepath:
